Wedding Activities

Las Vegas Wedding Grand Entrance and Exits

How you and your hubby will do your entrance or exit on your wedding can do a lot to stress your chosen theme.

If you’re having a Vegas wedding, arriving on your event (and leaving it) in one of those stretch limos is your most obvious option. If your budget will allow it, the grander it is, the better, since you definitely want to look like a million dollars on this grand day.

Another option is to arrive via red carpet. To make this idea way grander, ask one or two of your friends to present you and your groom with leis as you arrive. To add more pizzazz to this, you can even arrive with some slot machine jackpot sound in the background, which is very fitting since your big day is definitely your lucky day, right?!

Las Vegas Wedding Games

We think that games which can bring other couples together, one that can help your guests meet new friends, or any activities that has something to do with you and your groom, are perfect candidates for your wedding games. Here are some of our game ideas for this theme:

If you feel like giving your guests some cool gifts to show your appreciation, just have a raffle to pick your winning guests. And since you’re having a Vegas wedding, you can have tons of poker chips with the name of your guests and just draw the winner from the lot. And since it is very fitting, be sure to play the sound that one associates with a jackpot since that will be quite cool.

Trivia, Trivia

What is a wedding without some trivia about you and your groom? But since this is for a Vegas wedding, this trivia is all about numbers, and the cards has all the answers.

Unlike other trivia games wherein questions include your favorite dating activity, the bride/groom’s favorite cuisine and the like, this version is more of questions like how many years have you dated, how old was the bride/groom when you first met, and so on. And instead of writing or voicing out the right answers, your players are required to shuffle through their cards and pick out the card with the right number so as to answer a particular trivia question.

We will leave it to you whether to make this an individual or group game, but either way, the person/group with the most number of correct answers definitely deserves some cool prize.

As usual, make sure you have tons of reserve questions, since you never know if you need to break a tie or two.

Hearts and Diamonds

You will have two groups here, one representing the heart suit, while the other team will represent the diamond suit. We will leave it to you whether to make this a battle of the sexes when you do your grouping.

This is actually a relay race, wherein the aim of each group is to sort the order of their group’s cards. Similar to other relay race, each person will need to accomplish the task at hand, then pass the turn of doing the same task to the next person in line.

Before you start the game, make sure you make it clear in what order of things will the cards Ace, King, Queen, and Jack be in.

The group who was able to do the right sorting within the time limit will win the game. If both groups finish on time, the group with the shortest time are your lucky winners.

King and Queen of Hearts

This is a game which aims to find the King and Queen of Hearts among your guests. And the challenge that they need to go through for them to be declared the IT couple? They need to top the other couples when it comes to their ability to dance while the music is on and stopping all movement when the music is out.

We will leave the choice of song to you, and while you can choose David Pomeranz’ King and Queen of Hearts as your dance music, feel free to choose other romantic favorites if you prefer other songs altogether.

The game will play out until you have your best couple in stopping and dancing. If most of them are very good on this, you can just choose to extend the time when the music is out, or you and your groom can just pick which couple you think are your dancing stars.
