Cinderella Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Having your wedding in a castle, a courtyard of a castle or any grand establishment is recommended if you’re going for a Cinderella, a fairy tale or a princess wedding. Another option is to choose a location with a nice ballroom and the right antique setting, since those are the necessary elements which will fit your chosen theme.

That should already give you some of the necessary atmosphere you want for your Cinderella wedding, but if you think you still need to add more, hearts in all shapes and sizes, pink flowers especially roses, tiara, glass slippers, pumpkin carriage, castle, and a grandfather clock are just some of the elements that will add to your wedding’s Cinderella feel. Some grand-looking chandelier, silver and crystals in the right places, antique mirrors and paintings hanging from your walls, large oriental vases on certain areas plus never ending carpets can also help you reach the right level of elegance fit for royalty.

We also think that having an ice sculpture in the shape of Cinderella’s glass slipper or pumpkin carriage will be an amazing addition.

You also have lots of choices for your centerpiece, which can be one of the following: an antique yet grand-looking candleholder, a glass slipper full of candies, and a pumpkin candleholder (remove the stem and enough part of the pumpkin so you can sit the candle there securely) are just a few ideas. We also love the idea of caramelized apples designed to look like Cinderella and her prince as a centerpiece, some pink balloons in a vase, or better yet, pink roses or calla lilies in old wine bottles. That’s indeed a lot of options and we’ll leave the tough job of deciding which to go for to you.

Whether you go for heart-shaped balloons or ordinary-looking ones, getting pink balloons or balloons that follows your wedding motif will ensure that whatever you get will be a perfect addition to what you have prepared so far.

Country Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Your wedding should take place on the countryside. If you’re wondering which locations are great candidates, a barn-like place seems like a good idea, so is a wide open space with lots of grass, shrubs and trees. If you have a great location near a lake or something similar, that is also great. Having your wedding at a country inn or family restaurant within the vicinity will bring more convenience on your preparations, so if you prefer not worrying about the structure of your location, what food to serve, who will serve, etc, then the last two options are your best bet.

Although the right location really helps setup the right atmosphere, we think there are still lots of room for more decoration, so daisies in all shapes and sizes, wildflowers, grains and their stalk, fruits specifically berries, baskets, wooden furniture and decorations, guitars, beers (esp those which comes in drums/barrels), animal furs, and such are just some of the elements that you can play with, and which can help you set the right appearance.

We are great fans of nice entrances, and we think an arc made of flowers, fruits, grass, shrubs and the like, is something you can consider. An entrance made of a bamboo structure, decorated with more flowers and shrubs, is also another option.

But why remake what Mother Nature has perfected? If your location has a couple of tree across each other, with branches meeting in the middle like an arc, then you can make use of that as your group’s entrance, or maybe even where you and your hubby will make your vows. That should save you lots of decoration effort, aside from the fact that going natural is the best approach for any country wedding.

Inside your main wedding reception room, be sure to have a place for your country musicians, since serenading your guests with popular country music is a nice touch, if we may say so.

You can make use of grain stalks, branches, flowers, horseshoes to make your walls prettier and countrified. We also think that a giant wheel full of flowers, a wagon full of decorative country elements like flowers, grain stalks, grass, etc, the presence of a bunch of hay, placed on the right location, will be a nice touch.

You and your groom can have throne-like chairs made of wood as your seats of honor. Of course,  these should be placed strategically since you want to have a nice view of all things happening on this big day, right?

For your guest tables, you have an option to make use of lacy and white cloth, simple white linen or checkered table cloth. For your centerpiece, you can make use of a cowboy hat to contain a bunch of wildflowers, but if you decided you prefer to make use of a watering can and use it as your vase, that will also make you one pretty centerpiece. Of course, you can also go for the fruit centerpiece variety, which can be a basket of pear or assorted fruits, or a jar full of fruits submerged in water. Either ideas will work well with what you have so far.

We are great fans of balloons, and we think something in white and brown will do for your country wedding. But if you feel like going beyond the typical balloons, we saw some balloons with the right cow prints, which we think will be a nice addition on any country wedding, so make sure you check it out.

Daisy Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Your wedding location should be in a garden of some sort. This can be in the middle of the park, in your family’s garden, and so on. You can also choose a location with lots of trees and green grass, even if it’s a little short of flowers, which you can just add when you do your decorations.

If you think your location is not enough to stress the elements of your theme, then be sure to add flowers, especially daisies, in the right places. Tons of daisies in different colors and location should do the trick. Butterfly or bee-shaped decorations are also nice additions, and so are ribbons and banners that come in yellow.

To make sure you and your future hubby will be comfortable on this special day, prepare some comfy chairs and position them in the right place. And to ensure that they are perfect additions for your daisy-themed wedding, they should come in yellow or with the right flowery designs.

Your table cloth can be in light yellow or white, just make sure they don’t clash with your caterer’s plates and platters.

For your table decorations, we think that lemons submerged in a transparent vase full of water is a cool candidate. So is a yellow candle floating in a shallow dish of water with some daisy petals.

Another centerpiece idea is to use a watering can as a vase for your lovely daisies.  You can add some painting designs or ribbon just to beautify it, but whether you do so or not, we think this is a cool centerpiece idea. Still love daisies as your centerpiece? We think that using a wine bottle instead of a watering will also work. You can even intertwine a couple of daisies if you’re up to it.

We don’t know about you but if you feel your wedding will not be complete without balloons, yellow and white balloons around your reception area should do the trick.

Fall Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

If you’re having a fall wedding, then you definitely want to see all the colors that comes with the autumn season, hence, we highly recommend wedding locations wherein this aspect of the fall season will be quite evident.

Having your wedding at an orchard or a vineyard definitely fits the bill, so be sure to consider them. Having your wedding take place in a barnyard will also be suitable and so are parks and other places which will showcase this season’s highlights.

But if you envision your dream wedding to be happening in a location far from those we described above, no worries since even if you have your wedding in a grand ballroom of a hotel in the middle of the city, fall or autumn comes with lots of elements that you can play around with so as to turn any venue of your choosing into a perfect fall wedding location. You can start with the right autumn hues, which means your wedding location should have lots of reds, oranges, yellows, browns and gold. This can be highlighted in terms of swaths of fabric that you can use to decorate the room.

Fall happens to be a season of harvest, so decorating your wedding location with fall flowers, veggies and fruits will be a good start – pumpkins, corn, grapes, apples, pears, acorns are just the tip of the iceberg. Oak and maples leaves in the right places are also worthy additions.

Your table cloth should be in one of the colors mentioned above, we will leave you to choose which, just make sure that they will work well with your chosen table décor.

For your table decorations, we think that something related to pumpkins is just right so we love the idea of a pumpkin candle holder. The idea is to remove the stem and enough part of the pumpkin so you can sit the candle there securely. Just add some flowers and such to cover imperfections, if any.

Another centerpiece idea is to have some orange candles floating in a shallow dish or something similar. We will leave it to you whether to get leaf-shaped candles or not. Looking for another easy centerpiece idea? A used wine bottle which serves as a vase to your favorite fall flower should also do the trick.

We absolutely love edible centerpieces and since fall happens to be a harvest season, fruit centerpieces almost seem like a must. Apple centerpieces - caramelized apple decorated as a bride and groom, are quite cute so we’re pitching that in. We also think that grapes submerged in a jar of water of some sort are also worth considering. Not fond of grapes? Fruits that happen to thrive or are harvested during the fall season are all worthy alternatives.

We don’t know about you but if you feel your wedding will not be complete without balloons, then just get some in the right fall colors and you’re all set for a cool fall wedding celebration.

Fishing Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Having your wedding and wedding reception by the lake or other body of water is the way to go if you’re having a fishing-themed wedding. If this is not tasteful enough for you, having your wedding in a boat will be quite romantic and perfect for your theme. You can choose to have the ship captain do the wedding officiating or you can invite an external officiant if that’s what you prefer.

That should already give you some of the necessary atmosphere you want for your gone fishing wedding, but if you think you still need to add more, you can add some nets in the picture, some fishing pole, fish cut-outs and banners, colorful lures, and some lanterns. If you want to go beyond that, we love the idea of a fish-themed ice sculpture so we’re pitching that in. We also think that some hearts caught in a net and some fish poles arranged to look like a heart are great ideas and therefore worth adding. That should give you tons of decoration elements to work with.

You can use some fishnet to adorn your guest tables. But if you prefer a typical tablecloth, we think that going for blue or something of that shade will also be a worthy replacement.

You have lots of choices for your centerpiece, which can be one of the following: a transparent vase full of river rocks, a fish bowl with a live fish, a fish bowl with water lilies and some fish candles, (a jar of ) seashells, a wine bottle with flowers with a fisherman teddy bear attached, or a margarita glass or two full of gummy worms. That’s indeed a lot of options and we’ll leave the tough job of deciding which to go for to you.

Whether you go for fish-shaped balloons or ordinary-looking ones, choosing a balloon that follows your wedding motif will ensure that whatever you get will be a perfect addition to what you have prepared so far.

Garden Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Your wedding location should be in a garden of some sort. This can be in the middle of a park, in your family’s garden, a castle’s courtyard and so on.

That should be enough to stress your theme, but if for some reason you still want to accentuate it further, then be sure to add flowers of all kinds in the right places. Tons of your favorite flowers in different colors and location should do the trick. Butterfly or bee-shaped decorations are also nice additions, and so are ribbons and banners that come in green and white.

Your table cloth can be in green and/or white, just make sure they don’t clash with your caterer’s plates and platters.

For your table decorations, we think that limes submerged in a transparent vase full of water is a cool candidate. So is a white candle floating in a shallow dish of water. Adding flower petals in the latter will make this pretty centerpiece way prettier.

Another centerpiece idea is to use a watering can as a vase for your lovely flowers.  You can add some painting designs or ribbon just to beautify it, but whether you do so or not, we think this is a cool centerpiece idea. Still love flowers as your centerpiece? We think that using a wine bottle instead of a watering can will also work. You can even intertwined a couple of flowers if you’re up to it.

Be sure to prepare some comfy and green and/or white chairs for your and your groom’s use.

We don’t know about you but if you feel your wedding will not be complete without balloons, then balloons in green and white are what you want on your garden-themed wedding.

Golf Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Having your wedding celebration right at the country club, 19th hole or in a tent at your favorite greens are your choices if you are having a golf-themed wedding. That should already set the right ambiance, but if you feel you still need to do more decorations, we think that adding some golf essentials like golf bag and clubs in the right places will be nice. So will golf flags on each table, which can also show your guests their table number. We also think an ice sculpture of a couple playing golf (one teaching the other to do a nice swing) will be a great addition and worth considering.

Having your table “wear” tartan-like tablecloths is perfect, given that golf and anything Scottish is a good combination. You can choose to stop there since your dining sets can do the rest, or better yet, check out our centerpiece ideas, since one might just be right for you.

Fresh and not necessarily green, that is what you should have as your table centerpieces. This can be your favorite blossoms in a used wine bottle. Or fruits, green fruits in particular, submerged in a jar full of water. No idea on what fruit to use? You might want to check out limes since it’s a good green fruit candidate.

Edible centerpieces are usually good candidates because aside from being a colorful table decoration, they will also give your guests something to munch on. Candies like green M&Ms in a shallow dish and other similar round candies are worth considering. Of course you can just get some golf candies since golf candies in a golf wedding - just perfect!

Though not exactly something that you place out there as decoration, we think that bagpipes in the background will add a lot to the atmosphere you’re setting. Complete your decorations with some green and white balloons, since those will jive well with the other things you have prepared.

Green Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Any place that helps you commune with nature is a good place to have your go green wedding. This can be in the middle of the forest with lots of surrounding trees. It can also mean right beside a cave with waterfalls, if that is what you prefer. You can even choose not to go out of the city and just have your wedding amidst a nice garden, with lots of flowers surrounding you, your groom and your friends on your special day.

Whether you go one way or the other, if you feel you still need more decorations to accentuate your green wedding, then you must use different go green elements for your decorations. Organic plants, fruits and flowers in all shapes and colors are definitely welcome additions.

Since you are going for a green wedding, make sure you go for a table cloth rather than a plastic or other non-biodegradable alternative. Depending on your preference, you can go for one with a solid (green) color or a nature-related design.

For your table decorations, we think that any green organic fruit submerged in a transparent vase full of water is a cool candidate. So is an organic candle floating in water in a coconut shell (or something similar). Since going green means re-using what you can, we also love the idea of a used wine bottle serving as a vase for your chosen organic flowers. You can choose to leave it as is or use some vines instead of ribbons to further decorate your wedding centerpiece.

We don’t know about you but if you feel your wedding will not be complete without balloons, then you can choose to create your own paper balloons or just get the biodegradable balloon equivalent.

Las Vegas Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Having a Vegas wedding? Depending on your preference, you can have Elvis Presley, some alien dude, and the like to officiate your wedding. Of course, you can easily go for a more formal wedding and choose a traditional church to hold your ceremony.

More often than not, people who go to Vegas for their wedding choose to have their reception back home. If you’re of the mind that everything should happen in Vegas, depending on your budget and preference, your wedding reception can be held in a restaurant’s private room, a hotel’s ballroom, or in the wide outdoor (lakeside weddings or one of those canyon weddings).

If you would rather have your reception back home, then no worries, since with the right decorations, you can still set the right Vegas atmosphere for your home-based event.  The good thing about Las Vegas is that it comes with lots of glitter and elements that you can play with, and decorating your place like a classy Casino is just the tip of the iceberg. Here are some elements that you can use when decorating for your big day: king and queen of hearts, king and queen of diamonds, slot machines, casino chips, feathers, money, dice, etc. Make sure your reception area is very bright, with chandeliers and such, since everyone wants to keep their winnings in sight, right?

Although not exactly decorations, we think that getting someone who will impersonate Elvis (and have him demonstrate his singing prowess) and some lovely showgirls to roam around and serve wine or two will add a lot to the atmosphere you want. Sound effect on someone winning a jackpot in the background is also a good addition.

You can decorate your guests’ table to look like a poker table. But if you are opting for traditional tables, then a tablecloth of white and red or with hearts, spade, diamond, and/or clover design is something to consider. Having a playing card place card (diamonds for groom’s relatives, hearts for bride’s) and place cards designed to look like a poker chip (red for bride’s side, green for groom’s) are fitting additions.

For your table decoration, a used wine bottle with some pretty flowers can be something you can consider. You can attach some playing cards on each to make it the perfect Vegas-themed centerpiece. You can also replace those flowers with colorful feathers if that’s more to your taste. Of course, you can also ditch the used wine bottle altogether and just get a transparent vase, fill it with dice or poker chips and just plant your flowers in it. That’s a pretty and fitting centerpiece, if we may say so.

If you adore edible centerpieces, then how about getting some special-designed caramelized apples with special diamond or heart-suit design as your centerpiece?  Another easy centerpiece option is to get a pretty bowl, fill it with chocolate designed to look like poker chips, and you don’t just have something pretty to look at, your guests will also have something to munch on during your wedding program!

You also need to decide whether to get balloons. If you feel that your event won’t be complete without balloons, then get some in red, black and white ones. But why settle for typical round ones when you can get something in diamond or heart shape? There are such balloons being sold across the net and they’re just a few clicks away.

Luau Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

And the cool thing about this theme and having it along the beach is that you have instant decoration and ambiance right there!

But if you feel you still need more decorations to accentuate your theme and you happen to be having a night wedding reception, some tiki lanterns here and there will add to the atmosphere you’re aiming for. We also think that placing some bamboo wind chimes in the right places will not just give you something pretty to look at but will also give you some great sounds as the wind blows. Flowers are great for decorations and a luau wedding requires a lot of colorful flowers in the right places to make it perfect.

Some romantic sand art here and there will not be amiss. If you are having a night reception, we think that digging some holes in the sand and placing some candles in the holes can add a lot to the atmosphere you’re aiming for.

You and your new hubby definitely need the right seat on your wedding day and we think that a pair of beach chairs strategically placed will serve as your seats of honor. These will be a great addition to what you have prepared so far.

A white and airy table cloth (or a flowery one) can adorn your guest tables. To add more pizzazz to your table, we think that a shallow dish containing some water, an orchid or two and a floating candle is a cool centerpiece idea. If you prefer another idea, we think that seashells submerged in a jar of water is really pretty not to mention very theme-based. But if you absolutely love flowers and thinks that a table won’t be properly adorned if there’s no flower in sight, then birds of paradise (or other tropical flowers) in a tiki will be more to your taste.

We will leave it to you on whether to get balloons, but we think that balloons that come in the color of the more popular tropical flowers (orange, yellow, hot pink, etc) are the balloons that you want in your luau wedding.

Mexican Wedding Decoration

Choosing the right venue will save you a lot of decorations, so we’re great advocates of choosing the perfect venue.

Mexico is one of the places to go for a dream wedding and some special place in Mexico, whether a beach, a villa, or some traditional inn or restaurant is the right venue if you’re opting for a Mexican wedding. That should do a lot to the atmosphere you’re aiming for.

But if you feel you still need more decorations to accentuate your theme, then adding popular Mexican elements in your decorations will help you do so. This means including sombreros, maracas, ukulele, matador and bullfighting, chilis, cactus, margarita and tequila in the picture.

A lace tablecloth can adorn your guest tables. To add more pizzazz to your table, we think that a properly decorated margarita glass – with rimmed salt, wedged lime and some colorful liquid will be a fitting centerpiece. A margarita glass with a floating candle is also a cool centerpiece option and so is a wine bottle containing dahlias and a sombrero containing flowers. However, we love the idea of a pair of maracas painted to look as if one is wearing a suit and another is wearing a gown so we’re pitching that in. You just need a stand of some sort and you have a cute and creative centerpiece right there!

We will leave it to you on whether to get balloons, but we think that balloons that come in the color of Mexico’s flag (green, red and white) will compliment all the other things you have prepared so far.
